The plot is thickening in the aftermath of Hugh Freeze’s resignation. According to Yahoo reporter Pat Forde, Houston Nutt’s attorney is pushing to obtain the phone records from Ole Miss AD Ross Bjork.

Mars leaked the bombshell phone call that former Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze made to a number tied with an escort service, which resulted in Freeze’s resignation last Thursday.
The phone records from Bjork could be additional incriminating evidence against Ole Miss, so it’s understandable why Mars wants them.
Mars states he’s aggressively going after Ole Miss on behalf of the ex-Rebels coach for a simple reason.
“We’re in federal court,” Mars told Forde. “This isn’t junior high school.”
Mars is requesting that Nutt receives a public apology from Ole Miss, as well as “public acknowledgement that the school (specifically Freeze and athletic director Ross Bjork) misled the public by portraying a 2016 NCAA Notice of Allegations as primarily a Nutt problem and not a Freeze problem” and compensatory cash for damages.
As of now, Ole Miss hasn’t relented in agreeing to those requests.
Later Tuesday, CBS Sports’ Dennis Dodd reported that Mars will seek Bjork’s email records as well.

However, one thing appears for certain: Nutt’s lawyer is going to give it all he’s got.
