The Minnesota Vikings could use more weapons for Teddy Bridgewater to work with, and Laquon Treadwell could certainly be one. According to Darron Wolfson of KSTP in Minneapolis, the former Ole Miss receiver is scheduled to visit the Vikings in April.
Treadwell is considered by many, including NFL Network draft expert Mike Mayock, to be the best receiver in the 2016 NFL Draft class. Most draft experts have Treadwell projected to be selected in the first 16 picks, so the Vikings may not have the option to draft him with the No. 23 overall selection.
In 2015, Treadwell hauled in 82 receptions for 1,153 yards and 11 touchdowns. He was a finalist for the Biletnikoff Award, recognizing the nation’s top receiver, and elected to forgo his senior season to enter the 2016 NFL Draft.
