With the 2017 NFL Draft around the corner, Chad Kelly is taking all measures possible to alleviate any concerns from his potential suitors. According to the Ole Miss Network, the Rebels quarterback is heading out to see renowned Dr. James Andrews on Monday for his latest setback.

Kelly’s aggravated wrist cut his time short at Ole Miss’ pro day as he was only able to throw between 10-20 passes. Given the fact NFL scouts were in attendance, the timing of the injury was particularly frustrating for Kelly. The shortened stint was his first time throwing in public since the Rebels’ win over Georgia Southern.
However, Kelly is expected to work out for scouts at Ole Miss on April 22.
Kelly is also working his way back from the ACL tear he sustained last November.
The 6-foot-1 Kelly threw for 2,758 yards and 19 touchdowns last season prior to the ACL injury. In 2015, Kelly amassed 4,042 yards and 31 touchdowns.
