Starkville strip club pulls off perfect troll job on Hugh Freeze

Hugh Freeze continues to take shots from plenty of people trying to kick him while he’s down, and one would expect the majority of that to come from Ole Miss’ in-state rival.

Freeze’s abrupt resignation, which was tied to the discovery of calls he made to a female escort service during his time as head coach of the Rebels, has made Freeze a magnet for those wanting to poke fun at him and the school.

On Wednesday, this image taken outside a Starkville strip club surfaced on social media. The sign speaks for itself.

Freeze stepped down from his position in Oxford just about six weeks before Ole Miss’ season opener against South Alabama on Sept. 2. The school found a “concerning pattern” related to the calls he made to the escort service, which were made from his Ole Miss-issued phone.

Former co-offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Matt Luke was named interim head coach.

It was later revealed in a story by ESPN’s Mark Schlabach that the number associated with the female escort service was brought to light by Steve Robertson, who’s covered Mississippi State sports since 2001 and is a lifelong Bulldogs fan.
