Move over Katherine Webb, there is a new SEC QB girlfriend on the mind of SEC Network broadcaster Brent Musburger.
In the moments following a 29-28 Ole Miss victory at Kyle Field on Saturday night, the 77-year-old play-by-play man placed his focus on Rebels true freshman QB Shea Patterson’s girlfriend.
He gave an emphatic “it’s good to be a football hero” when Patterson received a post-game kiss:

The moment brought back memories of the time that he could not stop talking about former Alabama QB AJ McCarron’s future wife Katherine Webb during a national championship broadcast, explaining that she was why boys wanted to grow up to be quarterbacks to play at Alabama.
In the midst of the Patterson mania, Musburger made a powerful assertion to the power of the come-from-behind victory led by the true freshman quarterback:
"How many babies are going to be named Shea in the state of Mississippi?" Wait, what? ? calm down, Musburger.

I was waiting on the first Manziel comparison. Musburger busted it out with 14:50 to go in the 4th.
