The Ole Miss Rebels will want to forget the top of the 8th inning of their SEC Tournament elimination game against Georgia, but they’ll always remember the bottom of the 10th.
With two outs in the top of the 8th, a brutal mental and physical error from pitcher Parker Caracci allowed Georgia to score two runs and tie the game at 3. You can watch the crazy play below. All Caracci had to do to end the inning was make the toss to first base.

But the Carraci and the Rebels didn’t quit. He kept the game tied through 9 innings before giving up a home run to Georgia infielder L.J. Talley in the top of the 10th.
Then the Rebels went to work in the bottom of the inning, down to their final three outs.
Facing Georgia closer Aaron Shunk, in his third inning of work after setting the Rebels down 1-2-3 in both the 8th and 9th, the Rebels got a single, followed by an RBI double from Thomas Dillard. Dillard then scored the winning run on this 2-out base hit up the middle from Timothy Rowe.
