Spring is approaching rapidly, which means college programs from around the country will be getting back to the gridiron for the next few weeks. That’s a call for celebration, especially at Ole Miss.
And the Rebels responded accordingly on Tuesday afternoon. Their official football account tweeted an awesome hype video, commemorating the past and celebrating the start of the future under new coach Matt Luke.

That’s enough to send chills down the spine of any Rebels fan!
As it stands now, Ole Miss isn’t eligible for a bowl game in the 2018 season, although the Rebels are still appealing that ruling from the NCAA. But the future is bright in Oxford.
After another season of Jordan Ta’amu under center, Luke should be able to hand the offense to elite quarterback prospect Matt Corral, who picked the Rebels over Florida and plenty of other top schools on National Signing Day.
Luke and the Rebels have work to do in the state of Mississippi, as their in-state rivals in Starkville also have momentum behind new coach Joe Moorhead.
Ole Miss’ annual spring game is scheduled for April 7, and the Rebels open their season against Texas Tech at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, on Sept. 1.
