UPDATE (9:03 p.m. ET): Ole Miss lost to Alabama, 81-73, but Moody tied the SEC tournament record for 3-pointers made in a single game (eight) and his 39 points were three shy of the single-game record. The Bridgestone Arena crowd gave him a standing ovation when he fouled out in the final minute.
NASHVILLE — There are plenty of Elvis Presley impersonators on Broadway, but few expected to see a Steph Curry lookalike on Thursday night at Bridgestone Arena.
Ole Miss guard Stefan Moody came out firing against Alabama, piling up 17 first-half points thanks in large part to five 3-pointers at the SEC basketball tournament.
Moody’s most impressive shot was a Curry-esque bomb from 30 feet. Check it out:

He showed shades of Curry again moments later by collecting a botched 3-point attempt and firing up another beauty between two defenders.
Despite Moody’s efforts, Alabama leads Ole Miss, 40-36, at halftime. The winner of Thursday night’s game earns the right to face No. 2 seed Kentucky on Friday (7 p.m. ET, SEC Network).
