Normally, a recruit just picks one of a few hats off the table and puts it on to commit to a school.
It adds a little drama to the moment and allows media to cover an event. Texas wide receiver RJ Sneed decided to take it to another level when he committed to Ole Miss on Sunday.
Sneed comes out of a shipping container full of smoke, which then overlays a graphic of his height and weight. He then goes through a bunch of drills on the field, catching balls from the jugs machine with the logos of all the schools he’s considering.
Finally he sits down in a chair to talk over the decision before the camera cuts to him with an Ole Miss shirt on.
I would like to announce that I am committed to… pic.twitter.com/b1ymISDUKl
