A key member of the 2017 Missouri football team has found an NFL home, as J’Mon Moore was picked with the No. 133 pick (fourth round) by the Green Bay Packers.
Moore is the only Tigers player to be taken in the 2018 NFL Draft. Of the 14 SEC teams, only Kentucky is now without an NFL draft pick.
The second-team All-SEC receiver led Missouri with 65 receptions for 1,082 yards and 10 touchdowns while appearing in all 13 games and making 11 starts in 2017, while also leading the team in receptions and receiving yards during his sophomore and junior seasons.
Moore ranked in the top 5 among SEC wideouts in receptions (fourth), receiving yards (second) and receiving touchdowns (third) in 2017.
“J’Mon certainly has size in his favor,” said Simon Clancy, a draft analyst and lead feature writer for Gridiron Magazine, via The Columbia Missourian. “Teams like him because of his size and his production in the SEC over two seasons.”
