History often repeats itself and that was the case last night as No. 20 Mississippi State handed Missouri its fourth consecutive loss. The Bulldogs topped the Tigers 31-13, Thursday night. Coaches and players were all frustrated following the loss.
Here are three things to know now:
- With another home loss only adding to a season full of frustration, coach Gary Pinkel showed his displeasure with his team’s performance in his postgame comments to reporters. Pinkel and the Tigers now have three games to earn two more wins and become bowl eligibility.
- Mizzou showed some signs of life offensively in Thursday’s loss to Mississippi State. In case you missed any of the action, here’s David Morrison’s recap of how the Tigers dropped their fourth straight SEC game.
- Could Maty Mauk’s suspension be the prelude to the end of his time at Mizzou? Columbia Tribune’s Joe Walljasper believes so.
