Here’s a feel-good Halloween story.
As relayed by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch’s Dave Matter on Monday night, Missouri coach Barry Odom invited coaches’ wives to bring their kids to the Tigers’ football office in Halloween costumes so the fathers could receive a taste of the holiday. Of course, coaches’ schedules are demanding so taking part in trick-or-treating can be hard. But this is a thoughtful gesture.

Odom was full of goodwill Monday. Earlier in the afternoon, he thanked senior linebacker Michael Scherer in front of reporters during the coach’s weekly news conference.
The Tigers haven’t had many highlights of late during their 2-6 season. But both of these acts can’t help but make you smile.
You win the day, Odom.
