Shortly after rumors circulated that Missouri would be hiring Cornell Mann for its basketball staff, it appears another assistant is preparing to join new head coach Cuonzo Martin’s staff. According to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports, the Tigers are bringing in Chris Hollender, an assistant at University of Missouri-Kansas City, to fill the final spot on their staff.
Hollender spent the past two seasons on the staff at UMKC, after previously coaching for three seasons at Mississippi State.

Hollender also has coaching experience at Army and the University of Evansville, his alma mater. He was an all-Missouri Valley conference player at Evansville, where he graduated in 1998.
Martin coached the past three seasons at California before taking the head coaching job at Mizzou. His staff now reportedly features Mann, Hollender and Michael Porter Sr.
