After more than 40 years in the football coaching profession, former Missouri coach Gary Pinkel decided to retire at the end of the 2015 season.
Now, he’s ready to start the next chapter of his professional life at 64 years old.
Pinkel took to Twitter on Tuesday to his new venture– motivational speaking for businesses and organizations.
“Legendary Coach Gary Pinkel Leadership Chalk Talk” is the title of the advertisement, which promises to provide “lessons from the hyper-competitive, performance-focused world of major college football in building a winning culture, instilling teamwork, and leadership to maximize business success.”

Pinkel finished out his career as a head coach with a 191-110-3 overall record, and won seven of the 11 bowls in which he coached. He was named the 2014 SEC coach of the year after leading the Tigers to the second of back-to-back SEC East titles.
