Missouri lost Saturday, but one former Tigers player saw reason for optimism.
Y'all boys made me proud yesterday! Saw a lot of improvement from all of you! Lets keep working to be better https://t.co/v87k882vpz

Former Missouri linebacker Kentrell Brothers Sunday tweeted a compliment directed at Tigers tight end Jason Reese. Missouri led for most of the night against Georgia before Jacob Eason rallied the Bulldogs to a 28-27 victory at Faurot Field.
Brothers, a rookie with the Minnesota Vikings who was drafted in the fifth round, offered kind words after Reese made it known that he wants to move on as soon as possible.
For Missouri fans, it’s unfortunate the Tigers couldn’t finish the job in a winnable game. This one might sting for a while.
But Brothers is right: Missouri showed plenty. Now the Tigers must learn to close.
