Chase Daniel threw for 12,515 yards and 101 touchdowns during his four seasons at Missouri from 2005-08. He was even named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year after his junior year in 2007.
So it’s understandable why current Tigers players would jump at the opportunity they had on Friday morning.
Daniel returned to Mizzou on Friday to work out with the team, which also included quarterback drills in the afternoon. Daniel shared a picture on Twitter of him with three Tigers QBs.

Daniel, who signed with the New Orleans Saints during the NFL offseason, has played seven professional seasons since leaving Mizzou — three with the Saints, three with the Kansas City Chiefs and last year with the Philadelphia Eagles. He’ll return to New Orleans this season, where he began his NFL career from 2010-12.
Daniel has started just two NFL games, both with the Chiefs. He has passed for 480 yards and a touchdown.
Several other current Tigers players shared their excitement of working out with the former Mizzou signal-caller on Twitter:
