Arizona Cardinals LB Markus Golden sacked San Francisco 49ers QB Blaine Gabbert twice in the Cardinals’ Thursday night win over the San Francisco 49ers, giving the second-year linebacker from Missouri assumed the NFL lead in sacks.
The 6-foot-2, 260-pound Golden equaled his rookie total for sacks through four weeks, and his 2 sacks on Thursday give him 6 on the season. It gave Cardinals coach Bruce Arians, who has proven to be a pretty good eye for talent, some chance to brag up Golden.
