Winslow was a two-time all-conference selection for the Big Eight while playing at Missouri and was named a consensus All-American in 1978. He was a first-round pick in 1979 of the San Diego Chargers, where he played all nine seasons of his NFL career. Winslow, a Pro Football Hall of Famer, caught 45 touchdowns in his pro career.
