Jeremy Maclin is both a smart and happy man. That makes up for dancing to Ja Rule at his wedding. Probably.
The former star Mizzou wideout tied the knot with sweetheart Adia Kuzma on Saturday during what appeared to be a beautiful ceremony in St. Louis.
Look at that smile. That’s how we know he’s happy.
How do we know he’s smart? Prior to his wedding, the Kansas City Chiefs receiver told reporters how he was preparing for the big day.
“Saying yes to everything,” Maclin said of his role in the wedding planning.
“I’m looking forward to spending the rest of my life with her. She’s going to make everything a lot easier for me, hopefully. It’s an exciting time to start your life with somebody and potentially add some kids into the mix. I’m excited about it.”
For those having trouble remembering, Maclin was a big-time performer for Gary Pinkel’s squad in the pre-SEC days. He totaled 2,315 yards receiving and 22 receiving touchdowns during a two-year career with the Tigers in 2007-08 before turning pro.
With a big-time wedding comes big-time guests, and plenty of recognizable faces were in the crowd for this one. Appearances were made by former Mizzou QB Chase Daniel, Kansas City coach Andy Reid and Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith.

Oh, and we promised Maclin dancing to Ja Rule, didn’t we? There was that too, courtesy of former Mizzou LB Sean Weatherspoon:
We’re only teasing about the dance moves, Jeremy. You do you, man. And congratulations to the happy couple!
