Nick Bolton was previously committed to Washington, but instead, he’ll be heading to the SEC, not the Pac-12, to begin his collegiate career.
Bolton, a 3-star linebacker from Frisco, Texas, announced his decision to commit to Missouri on Twitter on Monday afternoon. He de-committed from Washington back on Oct. 5, then received an offer from the Tigers on Jan. 20.
Bolton visited with the Tigers this past weekend, the final one before National Signing Day on Wednesday. He must have been impressed with what he saw, as he wasted no time in deciding on Missouri.

Bolton is the No. 44 inside linebacker recruit in the Class of 2018, according to the 247sports composite rankings, as well as the No. 161 recruit from Texas.
Missouri and Missisippi State were the only SEC schools to send offers to Bolton, who also appeared to be strongly considering Kansas.
Bolton’s commitment was just the start of a busy day for head coach Barry Odom on the recruiting trail, as the Tigers also picked up a commitment from 3-star tackle Bobby Lawrence.
