Missouri’s playing its best football of the season, and it’s out to look its best for the Battle Line Rivalry against Arkansas on Friday.
With the game being played on Black Friday, the Tigers are matching the occasion by revealing all black uniforms for the contest against the Razorbacks.
That includes the school’s black-on-black helmet with a transparent Tigers logo.

This is actually the third time in four seasons that Missouri has worn these particular helmets against Arkansas, doing so in 2014, 2016 and now again for this year’s game.
Coincidentally, the Tigers won both of those previous meetings with the Hogs while wearing those helmets but lost the one in which it didn’t in 2015.
Missouri (6-5, 3-4) is currently riding a five-game winning streak with blowout victories against Idaho, UConn, Florida, Tennessee and Vanderbilt by a combined average of 35.4 points per game. That immediately followed a five-game losing streak.
Meanwhile, Arkansas is 4-7, 1-6 in the SEC.
Friday’s game kicks off at 2:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
