Maty Mauk issues apology after criticizing Missouri fans for booing
The past 48 hours have been interesting for Missouri and its quarterback Maty Mauk. Despite Missouri defeating UConn 9-6, Mauk did not have his best game, and the fans made him aware of their displeasure with plenty boos.
Mauk finished Saturday’s game 14-of-22 with 145 yards and one interception.
“If that’s how they feel, that’s how they feel…That’s why they’re in the stands and I’m on the field,” Mauk said, according to PowerMizzou.com’s Gabe DeArmond.
On Monday, Mauk apologized for his comments.
For those who were upset Maty Mauk said today he shouldn't have made statements after the game Saturday in response to being booed
