Michael Thompson is one of the top uncommitted defensive linemen in the country, and he will be making his college choice on National Signing Day.
Here is everything you need to know about the 4-star defensive tackle.
1. Michael Thompson will choose between Missouri and Oklahoma
Thompson announced last week that he is down to just two schools: Missouri and Oklahoma:

Thompson will choose between the Tigers and Sooners at his high school, Parkway North in St. Louis, at noon on National Signing Day.
2. Michael Thompson has kept his recruitment close to the vest
Somewhat unusual for a recruit of his stature, Thompson’s recruitment has long been difficult to get a read on. He is not a player that does a lot of interviews or tweets his every thought, which has made predicting where he’ll end up especially difficult.
3. Michael Thompson is part of a banner crop of St. Louis recruits
The 2018 recruiting class in the St. Louis area is the best that it has been in a very long time. In addition to Thompson, St. Louis produced 4-star players such as Ronnie Perkins, Kamryn Babb, Trevor Trout and Cameron Brown. Unfortunately for Missouri, however, all of those other players are signed to play elsewhere.
4. Michael Thompson would be the highest-rated recruit in Missouri’s class
According to 247Sports, Missouri currently lacks a 4-star player in its 2018 class. Thompson, as the 72nd-ranked player in America, would change that should he choose the Tigers over the Sooners.
5. Some think Michael Thompson would be even better as an offensive lineman
For as highly rated as Thompson is, there is at least one program that was recruiting him as an offensive lineman. Meanwhile, Thompson’s high school coach has high praise for him overall.
“Michael’s the best athlete we’ve had in all the years I’ve been here,” Parkway North coach Bob Bunton told the Omaha World-Herald’s Sam McKewon.
