Missouri (4-4, 1-4) is coming off of a bye week, giving the Tigers 12 full days to prepare for No. 24 Mississippi State (6-2, 2-2), but that didn’t keep the Bulldogs from being 7.5-point favorites entering Thursday’s game according to VegasInsider.com.
The Tigers have dropped three straight games, scoring a total of 12 points in those three losses, and haven’t scored a touchdown since Oct. 3. While they are out of the running for an SEC East title, they are still two wins away from bowl eligibility, making Thursday’s home game critical. It will mark the first SEC meeting between the two teams. The last time they played was 1984, a 47-30 Mizzou win.
Mizzou and Mississippi State will kick off at 9 p.m. ET on Thursday, with the game being aired on ESPN.
