Mizzou Arena is looking sad these days.
On Tuesday night, Missouri hosted Auburn. The facility can fit more than 15,000 people. However, the crowd that showed up for this SEC matchup looked, well, super small.
Check out the photo and reaction below that captured the scene:

Capacity at Mizzou Arena is 15,061. Tod says the estimated actual attendance is 5,907. https://t.co/jX7mly1SfJ

It’s not a surprise to see Missouri fans checked out at the moment. The Tigers entered the game with a 5-9 record overall and an 0-2 mark in the SEC. Missouri’s lowlights this season include losses to North Carolina Central, Eastern Illinois and Lipscomb.
It wasn’t that long ago that Missouri was considered a solid basketball program. The Tigers earned a No. 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament during the 2011-12 season, but it has been mostly downhill from there.
The Tigers seem far, far away from respectability.
