The Kim Anderson era at Missouri has been marred by two trends: losses and transfers. When freshman forward Willie Jackson decided to leave the program after just one semester, that meant that both trends would officially continue through the new year. Today, however, it was reported that Jackson had found a new home at which he will continue his college basketball career:

One of two freshmen from Garfield Heights High School in Cleveland, the other being guard Frankie Hughes, Jackson will have to sit out until the second semester of the 2017-18 season. He will have 2½ seasons of eligibility remaining for the Rockets.
