Missouri rolled to one of its largest victories in school history by easily defeating Alabama A&M 99-44 on Sunday.
The Tigers (1-0) recorded four blocks and held a 43-29 rebounding margin over the Bulldogs. Missouri also connected on 8-of-16 shots from behind the 3-point line.
Missouri built a 49-20 lead at halftime, then was able to continue the rout in the second half as eight different Tigers scored.

Missouri’s Frankie Hughes led the Tigers with 23 points, while adding 2 rebounds and an assist. The 23 points equalled the most ever scored by a Missouri freshman in his debut.

The 55-point margin of victory was Missouri’s second largest at Mizzou Arena since the Tigers moved their in 2004. Missouri’s largest win at Mizzou Arena came in 2009 when the Tigers defeated Texas-Pan American, 100-44.
Missouri jumped right out to an early lead in this one, as the Tigers built a 18-4 lead in the first 10 minutes of the game. After that, the Tigers just rolled to the easy victory.
The Tigers will face Xavier on Thursday at 1 p.m. ET at HP Field House in Kissimmee, Fla.
