Missouri picked up another Class of 2016 commitment Tuesday night — 6-foot-9 post Kedric Jakoby Kemp from Layton (Utah) High — meaning the Tigers’ next move will affect their 2017 recruiting board.
Thanks to violations during the previous regime, Kim Anderson’s squad needs to forfeit one scholarship either this year or next, so another commit (there are currently six counting Kemp) would force the Tigers’ hand, assuming all seven sign in that hypothetical situation. Stand pat, and all scholarships will be available as normal during the 2017-2018 season.
The latest domino to fall is Kemp, who announced his decision on Twitter:

Scout.com’s Evan Daniels notes that Kemp — who Daniels lists as 6-foot-10 — was just 6-foot-5 last year.
According to HoopSeen.com’s Corey Evans, Kemp was also considering LSU, Memphis and TCU. Evans likes Kemp’s “ball skills” and called him “very versatile.”
