First, Missouri basketball hired Cuonzo Martin. Then it landed the top recruit in the country in Michael Porter Jr. Now, the Tigers have landed their point guard of the future.
4-star point guard Blake Harris, who visited Missouri this weekend along with Porter Jr. and un-committed 5-star prospect Kevin Knox, announced on Sunday that he had committed to the Tigers.
Harris is the No. 124 player in the class and stands at 6-foot-3 and 185 pounds. The point guard from Chapel Hill, N.C., was also seriously considering Michigan State and N.C. State.

Harris’ commitment now gives Missouri three pledges for the 2017 cycle, joining Porter and fellow 4-star point guard C.J. Roberts. With Harris’ addition, Missouri now has the No. 16 recruiting class according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
If the Tigers were to also land Knox, Martin’s first class would jump all the way to No. 5. As it stands, the current collection of talent should lead to a huge turnaround from last season’s squad, which went 2-16 in SEC play.
