Over 60 percent of Missouri’s 2018 class so far has been assembled in the last five days.
And the Tigers got their third commitment of the day on Wednesday evening with 3-star Amite (La.) safety Tyrus Wheat making his announcement on Twitter.

The 6-foot-2, 194-pound Wheat joins offensive tackle Mike Ruth and OLB La’Dedrick Jackson to make a trio of prospects who’ve pledged to Missouri on Wednesday.
Eight of the 13 commitments in coach Barry Odom’s 2018 class have come in the last five days, including 4-star ILB Chad Bailey, who made his decision on Sunday.
The Tigers made their offer to Wheat — his only Power 5 offer, according to 247Sports — on May 9. The service rates Wheat as the No. 86 overall prospect in the state of Louisiana.
