That was quick. Missouri defensive line coach Chris Wilson has left the program to join the Philadelphia Eagles’ coaching staff, according to a report from Yahoo’s Eric Edholm.
Wilson was hired onto Barry Odom’s staff on December 18, 2015. His tenure in Columbia, Mo. lasted a whopping 39 days.
“Chris Wilson is a great fit for our staff,” Odom said when Wilson was originally hired. “I’ve known of him and thought highly of him for a number of years.”
Wilson spent the past two seasons with Southern California and has been coaching at the collegiate level since 1993.
Ironically, Missouri posted this meet and greet Q&A with the former defensive line coach on Wednesday.
