Missouri DL injured in car crash to play against UConn
One day after being involved in a car crash on the edge of campus, Missouri defensive lineman Terry Beckner, Jr., has suited up to play against UConn.
Beckner — a former 5-star recruit from East St. Louis, Ill. — was alongside teammates DeSean Blair, Keyon Dilosa and Trevon Walters on Friday afternoon when the four received varying “non-life threatening” injuries in a car crash.
Saturday morning, Beckner was spotted participating in the team walk-through as he normally would, according to Dave Matter of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
“He’ll play today,” Matter tweeted.

Dilosa and Blair — both redshirt freshmen wideouts — were not so lucky. The former was spotted on the sideline wearing a sling, and the latter was not participating in warmups. Neither will play, according to Tod Palmer of the Kansas City Star.
Walters (ACL injury) was expected to miss the game before the car crash.
WR Keyon Dilosa is out with a bruised elbow and WR DeSean Blair is out with a head injury. RB Trevon Walters remains out with a knee injury.
