Tyler Badie had long appeared to be attending an in-state school, as he had been committed to Memphis since last summer. However, Missouri changed that.
The 3-star running back from Memphis announced his commitment to Mizzou at a National Signing Day ceremony on Wednesday. He had been committed to Memphis since July 24.

According to Jonah Jordan of 247sports.com, not only did Badie pick up Missouri’s hat at the ceremony, but he first pretended like he was going to grab the Memphis hat before actually picking up Mizzou’s.
Badie is the No. 28 all-purpose running back in the Class of 2018, per the 247sports composite rankings, as well as the No. 43 recruit from Tennessee.
Despite being committed to Memphis for so long, Missouri gave Badie an offer on Dec. 8. Badie then visited Missouri on Jan. 19, leading to his decision to flip on National Signing Day.
