Missouri was able to flip one prospect on Saturday, and it appears the Tigers have flipped another.
Markell Utsey, a three-star defensive tackle prospect from Parkview Magnet (Little Rock, Ark.), announced his commitment to Missouri over Twitter.
“Excited to say I am committed to The University of Missouri,” Utsey tweeted on Saturday.
The 6-foot-4, 290-pounder became the second prospect of the day to de-commit from one school and commit to the Tigers shortly thereafter.
“I want to give thanks to the coaches at the University of Arizona for giving me the opportunity to play in Tucson,” Utsey said on Twitter about an hour before committing to Missouri. “But I want to announce that I will be decommitting from Arizona.”
Utsey is rated the No. 99 DT in the country and the No. 18 prospect in the state of Arkansas by the 247Sports Composite rankings.
