Missouri found its quarterback commitment for the 2017 recruiting class in Taylor Powell.
Powell is a 3-star quarterback out of Fayetteville, Ark., and is the No. 33 pro-style quarterback for the 2017 class. He flipped his commitment from Wake Forest on Monday.

Missouri now has 22 commitments in its 2017 recruiting class. Before Powell’s commitment, the Tigers had the No. 42-ranked class in the country and the No. 12 class in the SEC. Barry Odom quickly landed a quarterback after losing longtime QB commit Reyondous Estes to Minnesota last week.
The Tigers went 4-8 in Odom’s first season. Quarterback Drew Lock will return next season, along with a number of Missouri weapons.
