Walters was arrested Friday in Boone County, Missouri, and is accused of stealing and fraudulently using a credit card according to the Boone County Sheriff’s Department.
The charges are misdemeanor charges in Missouri, but still a serious matter.
Walters did not appear for Missouri last year after redshirting his freshman year. He missed all of last season with a knee injury and is one of six running backs on scholarship for the Tigers.
