Missouri’s success on the recruiting trail continued on Monday.
DeMarkus Acy, a 3-star safety from Dallas, Texas, announced his commitment to the Tigers through Twitter.
The 6-foot, 175-pound product from Wilmer-Hutchins High School gives Missouri its second commitment in three days. On Saturday, the program landed a commitment from 3-star defensive end Tyreic Martin, who pledged shortly after the Tigers’ win over South Carolina. He gives Missouri its 16th commitment in next year’s class.
Acy, who has reported 11 offers, was considered a strong Texas lean, per 247Sports.com’s Crystal Ball predictions.
He is rated as the No. 69 safety in the country.
