Missouri beefed up its offensive line Wednesday evening.
Junior college offensive lineman Kyle Mitchell announced on Twitter he has committed to Mizzou. The 6-foot-5, 310-pounder sophomore joins the Tigers from American River College in Sacramento, Calif. He is listed as a member of the Class of 2016 by Rivals.com.
“After all the hard work, blood, sweat and tears I’ve put into this game alongside my brothers, I’m proud to announce I have officially committed to #Mizzou!” Mitchell announced. “At this point, I’m excited to further my education and career as a Missouri Tiger and I can’t wait to get after it.”
Mitchell should provide some depth and experience in the trenches after Missouri senior offensive lineman Malik Cuellar quit the program in the spring.
