Just one week after sustaining a scary ankle injury against Kentucky, senior linebacker Kentrell Brothers is back in action for Missouri.
Brothers was announced as a starter for Saturday’s tilt with South Carolina at Faurot Field, and he made his presence known early with a tackle for loss on the opening drive, which ended in a Gamecocks punt. Brothers had been considered questionable earlier in the week, although reports surfaced hinting that he felt healthy enough to play.
Brothers, who made 52 tackles, three tackles for loss and two interceptions in the first four games, is an integral part of a stout Tigers front seven.
For those who missed it, Kentrell Brothers warmed up with the No. 1 defense, so we expect he’s a go for #Mizzou today.

Scherer says Kentrell Brothers told him he's playing this weekend. Said he cleaned up the language a little bit.
