After missing last week’s game against Georgia, Missouri running back Alex Ross may be back for this week’s home matchup against Delaware State.
According to Tod Palmer of The Kansas City Star, Tigers offensive coordinator Josh Heupel is hopeful Ross (left ankle sprain) will return this Saturday.

Ross sprained his ankle on Sept. 10 in a 61-21 win over Eastern Michigan. In his first season with the Tigers since transferring from Oklahoma, Ross has 72 yards on 20 carries, most of which came in a season-opening, 26-11 loss at West Virginia on Sept. 3.
