Missouri player on loss to Arkansas: “The way we let (Gary Pinkel) go out is an embarrassment”
Missouri’s 28-3 loss to Arkansas was tough to take. The Tigers’ offense struggled once again in what was most likely coach Gary Pinkel’s final game.
After 15 years of coaching at Missouri, Pinkel announced earlier this month that he is retiring, revealing that he has been battling lymphoma since being diagnosed in May. One of his players wasn’t happy about the way his team sent off its coach in the regular season finale.
Man I came here to play football for coach Pinkel and get an education but the way we let him go out is an embarrassment.

Walters is a freshman tailback for Missouri. The Tigers finished the season 5-7 and 1-7 in the SEC. Even with a losing record, Missouri could still be eligible for a bowl game. However, that seems unlikely with the way Missouri has struggled this season.
