When it rains, it pours. That’s the feeling in Columbia, Mo. right now as commitments continue to come in for the Missouri Tigers.
It has already been an incredibly busy weekend for Mizzou recruiting, with the Tigers hosting their annual Night at the Zou event. Both prior to and after that event wrapped up, Barry Odom and his staff had already landed four commitments over the span of about 48 hours. And yet, they still weren’t done, as yet another recruit has made his pledge to put on the black and gold in college.
That latest recruit is wide receiver Kam Scott, a three-star prospect out of Texas:

According to 247Sports, Scott is the 485th-best player in the country. A speedster from Manvel, Tex., Scott currently stands 6’1.5 and weighs 156 pounds. Though he may need some time to develop in the weight room, he looks like a player with massive upside for the fast-paced Tigers.
Scott is choosing Missouri over offers from Baylor, Illinois, Iowa State, and Tulsa, among others. He is Mizzou’s fifth commitment of the weekend, doubling their class to a total of ten. He joins linebacker Cameron Wilkins, corner Vincent Gray, safety Cam Taylor, and linebacker Chad Bailey in making his pledge this weekend.
