Where Missouri’s 2017 recruiting class is ranked
With the shakeups, Missouri recruiting climbed a spot this week and is now No. 41 in 247Sports’ national rankings. The Tigers hovered in the high 30s and low 40s for the past several months.
The Tigers remain 12th in the SEC, ahead of Mississippi and Vanderbilt. The class now includes 21 commitments and 1 junior college signee.

Who committed to the Tigers this week?
Shortly after losing dual-threat quarterback Reyondous Estes to Minnesota, coach Barry Odom and the Tigers were able to flip a commit of their own to fill the void. Former Wake Forest commit Taylor Powell, a 3-star quarterback from Fayetteville, Ark., announced for Mizzou on Sunday.
Powell is the 6th-ranked recruit in Arkansas and the 32nd-ranked pro-style quarterback in the nation.
A day before Powell’s announcement, the Missouri recruiting class added safety Tyree Gillespie of Ocala, Fla. (Vanguard). Powell is 6-foot, 202 pounds and the 3rd safety to join the 2017 class.
Who de-committed from Missouri this week?
Louisiana defensive end Josh Smith became the latest to de-commit from the 2017 Missouri recruiting class. Smith, a 3-star recruit, received an offer from Iowa State before his de-commitment.
