Missouri is merciful.
In a move that anyone with half a brain would suggest, Missouri and Delaware State moved to 10-minute quarters in the second half of the Tigers’ romp at Faurot Field, as reported by Dave Matter of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Missouri rolled to a 58-0 lead against the overmatched FCS opponent by halftime.
Quarterback Drew Lock threw five touchdown passes and running backs Damarea Crockett (two) and Ish Witter (one) added three combined scores in the first half.
Both teams should hope for an uneventful, injury-free end to the third and fourth quarters.
Ten minute quarters from here on out at Mizzou
