Wednesday was not a good day for Missouri on the recruiting trail.
After 3-star athlete Caron Baham announced his de-commitment from Missouri earlier in the day, the Tigers lost another prospect when 3-star offensive guard Mackenzie Nworah announced that he would reopen his recruitment via Twitter.
“I would like to thank Coach Gary Pinkel and his coaching staff for giving me the opportunity to play The University of Missouri, especially at the elite level of the SEC, but after a lot of thoughts, prayer and family discussion. I have decided to open my recruitment back up and De-commit from Mizzou. I would like to thank the family of Mizzou and the fans for all the love and support given. #MIZ,” Nworah tweeted.
The 6-foot-3, 306-pound prospect out of Manvel (Texas) High School had been committed to Missouri since June. He holds 16 reported offers, including Indiana, Arizona State and Boston College, among others.
Nworah is ranked as the No. 43 offensive guard in the nation in the 2016 class.
