The 22nd-ranked Tigers beat the Volunteers 25-16 in the third and final set to win the match. Missouri’s last SEC championship in volleyball came in 2013, when it went 35-1 on the year. With the win over Tennessee, Missouri moves to 25-5 on the year.
Missouri’s 16-2 record in conference play ties them with Florida for the league championship.
