Few players have been as intertwined with the Mizzou offense over the past four seasons as J’Mon Moore.
While former offensive coordinator Josh Heupel, who recently took the top job at UCF, was only in Columbia for two years, it’s only natural for Moore to have a strong reaction.
WR J'Mon Moore was visibly displeased with the way OC Josh Heupel left. "It’s kind of like a slap in the face to me. The type of person that I know Coach Heupel is, that didn’t make sense to me."

It sounds like Moore wants to give his former coach the benefit of the doubt, but it’s also tough to grasp the why when a coach who builds a strong relationship with a player decides to leave.
Other players also reacted to the news, but calling it a slap in the face shows Moore is taking it hard.
Moore has been a star for the Tigers over the past two years, hauling in over 120 catches and over 2,000 yards receiving with 18 touchdowns. The one man who helped make that happen the most other than Drew Lock, was Heupel, so it’s easy to see why he’s upset.
