Like many football players, Michael Scherer might one day want to go into broadcasting. But if he does, he might want to stay away from trying to become a weatherman.
Scherer did an interview with television station KMIZ in Columbia on Monday. After the segment, he tried to do the weather forecast in front of the green screen. It did not go well.

To be fair to Scherer, working in front of a green screen is difficult. Plenty of actual TV meteorologists aren’t very good at it.
Broadcasting might have to wait. Scherer’s football career may not be over yet. He’s No. 42 inside linebacker in the 2017 NFL Draft class, according to NFLDraftScout.com. He had 266 career tackles at Missouri.
Missouri has a world-renowned journalism program, including a focus TV. Scherer was a business major at Mizzou.
