Damarea Crockett has done damage for Missouri this fall.
With a 29-yard touchdown run in the second quarter to tie the score at 7 against South Carolina on Saturday, Crockett became the owner of Missouri’s single-season freshman record for rushing touchdowns with 8.
The 5-foot-11, 220-pounder from Little Rock, Ark., had produced rushing touchdowns in three previous games before Saturday, including a season-high 4 in a loss to Middle Tennessee on Oct. 22.

Crockett is trying to help Missouri improve to 3-6 after the Tigers entered Saturday with a four-game losing streak. He had totaled three games with at least 100 yards rushing this season entering the weekend.
