Mark Richt will be adding more SEC flair to his Miami coaching staff.
Former Missouri defensive line coach Craig Kuligowski will take the same role at Miami, sources told FootballScoop.com.
Kuligowski spent the last 24 years alongside Gary Pinkel, including 20 seasons as defensive line coach. He helped nine Tigers to earn First-Team All-Conference honors, including eventual NFL stars such as Lorenzo Williams (2007), Ziggy Hood (2008), Aldon Smith (2010), Dominique Hamilton (2011), Sheldon Richardson (2012), Michael Sam and Kony Ealy (2013), and Shane Ray (2014).
Missouri led the SEC in sacks in 2013 and 2014, notching a school-record 44 sacks the latter season. The Tigers defensive line notched 39 or the team’s 41 total sacks in 2013.
Kuligowski also helped Ray earn SEC Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2014.
